Have you ever fantasized about being an awesome warrior princess who’s also very sexy? A Xena Warrior Princess costume will definitely satisfy your dreams! Xena Warrior Princess has become such a cult series that many people want to emulate her style. If you want to look like this fearsome fox, then here are a few hints and tips.

Xena pretty much wears the same outfit throughout all the series, a brown leather skirted costume with armor. You can of course, buy a similar looking costume from a costume shop or online, but you can make your own. If you look closely at Xena’s costume, the top is a fitted bodice with straps and epaulets on the shoulders. The bust area and epaulets look like they are overlaid with metal decoration which probably acts as armor. If you want to make your own costume, you could start with a brown leather corset and add your own shoulder straps if not already present. With the extra material you can then make epaulets to attach to the top of the straps. The easy way to get the metal finish to the bust and epaulets is to use a gold material marker pen. With the same brown material you can make matching upper arm and wrist bands and decorate them with using the gold marker. For the skirt, use different length strips of brown leather. Either make or short brown skirt or buy one and then sew the different length leather strips on top. To complete the look add a pair of brown boots or sandals.

The final job is to make or buy Xena’s two weapons: a chakram (circular metal ring) and a sword. The chakram can be made out of cardboard and then covered with tinfoil. You can find much more time consuming and difficult ways to construct a chakram on the internet.
